Can a lot of stress cause a woman to miscarry? ?
-
My very first pregnancy ended in miscarraige. It was a hard time and I was only 25. My second pregnancy went full term. We have the most amazing, beautiful, and amusing son. He's 15 months now and I've always wanted to have babies pretty close, at most two years apart. I got pregnant last month (perfect timing) and it again ended in a miscarriage. I went to the doctor and he told me it could be okay, and we'll see what happens next time I try to conceive. However, at my age, two miscarriages aren't so common. My question is: can stress cause this? My husband has been fired from his job. We've had several financial issues and him trying to find work has laid a lot on my shoulders as his first language is not English. Our son has been sick, I have two part-time jobs, and I'm going to school. We got unemployment, which is well deserved, he was fired for having told the manager that he would be seeking alternate employment because they are cutting hours. However, unemployment pays very little and on top of all that the past employers are appealing the unemployment payments. Since my husband is from another country and speaks a different language, he understands little of what is happening. My Spanish is pretty good, but I have explained it the best that I could and he's still unsure. We called the appeals office and told them he needs a translator and they seem reluctant to provide him with one as he understands English fairly well. This does not help him articulate his defenses and I can't be there to help him. I lost our baby last week. I have so much on my plate and I think that the stress was the cause of this. We wanted another baby and were trying to conceive, and as I said before, we have had a full term, healthy baby. The job that my husband was fired from is one of MY part-time jobs. I still work there! Inhave to face the same people every week that are taking food from our kid's mouth. I'm only 27, so I'm still in child baring years....
