What deodorant should I use to stop sweating.?
-
I sweat soo much. But it's not because I'm excessively hot or anything. I'm actually usually the coldest one in the room. But, by the end of the day, I still have sweat stains, even if all I've been doing is sitting. Why do I sweat so much? It's true that I am overweight, but only by like, 15 pounds. That shouldn't make me this gross. What deodorant should I use to stop this? I've used ones like CertainDri and Dove Sport, or Degree Clinical... Nothing works really well. ): I'm desperate.

Go to your doctor and ask for this gel that you put on at night that will totally stop you from sweating at all. :) my sister is on it. i use clinical proven and i put it on at night
I use Secret and it's a great antipersperant. Make sure whatever you're getting says "antipersperant" on it, not just "deoderant". My hubby sweats a lot and he uses MItchum. It's all the works for him. They make Mitchum for Women, too. You could try that. If none of the deoderants you can get over the counter at the store are working, you may need to go see a Dr. and get a prescription strength one. My little brother had to do that when he was in middle school and it stopped his sweat problem. It's just more expensive than OTC brands.
Wow, finally someone who is in the same boat :D Im happy to help cus most my life I have suffered from over sweating. I am always the coldest but also the one who sweats heaps. Have tried every deodrant literally! Until I found CLINICAL Protection from dove. I know you have tried dove before but try this one (i find the cool essential type (looks like cucumber) works the best. It takes a few days to get into the pattern of helping you, so put alittle on at night and some on in the morning. It works like a charm and stop you from thinking about sweating and more to enjoy life. Now i know still that I sweat when i wear t-shirts and that but when i use this it stops me from worrying and that actually slows it down alot :D You being over weight by a little should not be the reason for your sweating, some people sweat more than others but never say anything :D Hope ive helped abit and if you need anymore help, feel free to ask away :D Best of luck becca xx
I see patients with this problem a lot. It's called hyperhidrosis. Yes, there are prescription strength antiperspirants. They are not much different than the one I linked below. For now, try Drysol. It's expensive, but it works. Follow this link and read the reviews. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PC8H6C If that doesn't work, try to just live with it. If it's an absolute burden talk to your doctor about a botox injection (yes the one for wrinkles), Iontophoresis at a dermatologist clinic, or Robinul. If you go with Drysol, dab it on at night and wash it off in the morning. It can be very irritating, so use it as little as possible. Some people get by with using it twice a week. Good luck.

Deodorant does not stop sweat, antiperspirant does. It will work anywhere you put it, that it will stay on - for instance, palms not such a good place. But it may stain your clothes (like the yellow stains in armpits of white shirts). Powder (cornstarch) may help you feel dryer. For the best answers, search on this site https://smarturl.im/aDKB3
