Do you have to take birth control pills for a whole month until you dont have to wear a condom?

Answer:
Depends on the pill. I know on yaz it only takes about 7 days. Check your birth control instructions and it will most likely tell you. If you wanted to be really safe though, I would suggest using a condom in case your birth control hormones haven't quite kicked in yet. Just remember birth control doesn't protect against STDs, so make sure you've talked to your sex partner about the possibility of STDs, before you go condomless. Good luck!

You can still get pregnant. Don't stop using a condom. BESIDES, birth control does NOT protect you from sexually transmitted diseases. Leave the condoms on!!!

You have to be on the pill for at least 3 months for it to start working properly. Also, the pill doesn't protect you from STD's, and its only 98% effective so you really should be using condoms if you don't want to fall pregnant!!!

You should check with the doctor who put you on the pill, it can vary depending on your dosage.
