Still suffering from a UTI infection, but now I'm getting brown discharge?
-
Okay, so I know I'm too young, but please, don't judge. I'm 14 years old. Two weeks ago, I lost my virginity. After my first time, I began to experience signs of a UTI infection, but it was nothing severe, so I thought nothing of it. The second time I had sex, I started to experience pain from the UTI infection, but, still, I thought it was just cramps. The third time I had sexual intercourse, the condom broke. I panicked, washed myself out, and after about 4 hours I told my 30 year old sister who provided me with an after pill. She was disappointed about my decisions. The next day, my UTI infection got worse, then I did realize that I did infact have an infection. I went to the doctor's the next day, and the doctor gave me anti biotics. Now, 2 days later, my vaginal discharge is brown, it was also like this last month during the ending time of my period. I read online that the discharge can also be brown if you're in the early stages of pregnancy. So I'm thinking if I "was" pregnant, I would have conceived either during my first or second time. But, the after pill is supposedly going to make me have my period during the next 2 weeks after taking it. So I'm confused at the moment. Am I pregnant? or is the brown discharge just a sign that I'm about to have my period? By the way, today I've been experiencing slight cramps, but I could be confused by pains from the UTI infection. Also, during the first and second time, we did use protections. On both occasions, the condoms did not break.

Answer:
I can only answer part of this question. I use to have UTIs ALL the time when I was in college. The painful urination and the urgency to go, but you really dont have to go. I was always told to make sure that you pee after intercourse, to release any bacteria in the urinary tract. The nurse also told me that shower gel and soaps with fragrance could also lead to UTIs. As far as the second portion, I would wait another week or two before you worry yourself sick and take a pregnancy test.
