Hot waxing in the cold or warm?

Any solution to this waxing problem?

  • I used to shave my legs everyday in the shower, and my skin appeared ok. I really didn't like it because if I missed a couple days, I'd be self conscious. Now that i started using hot wax, cold wax strips, and creams, and all of this stuff, I started to get these marks on my skin that don't go away. They look like bruises except they don't hurt when I touch them. In certain pores, there would be a red dot which also does not go away. I love all the benefits of waxing and will endure the pain to be hairless, but hate having to worry about shaving every other day, but not to the expense of having permanent marks on my skin. Please help.

  • Answer:

Try a specialist after-waxing lotion, a rich moisturiser or Palmers cocoa butter with a couple of drops of tea-tree oil mixed in after waxing. You should not wax after a bath or shower. Also, if you have varicose veins (you might not know yet - do your legs 'itch' inside sometimes?), you might be getting this 'bruising' because of it.
