Percocet long term effects?

Clindamycin vs metronidazole vaginal cream? As far as side effects and long term side effects?

• I've heard numerous horror stories from the use of Clindamycin, (including a lethal if left untreated G.I disorder). Not so much with Metronidazole. I was prescribed Clindamycin 2% vaginal cream for BV to take for 7 days. I also use the same liquid topical treatment in 1% for my acne and have never had any side effects. My question is that although a higher percentage, will I still have possible G.I side effects like vomiting and diahrrea. Or does taking the 1% topical with no side effects mean my body is semi tolerant to the reaction that occurs with this medication. It seems as though the other medication as a cream is a safer option but I know my g.y.n well and I'm thinking there is a reason he prescribes me the Clindamycin over the Metro. Please help, I am concerned about taking this medication vaginally and with possible severe long term side effects.

  I'm not sure if this will answer your question very well but I took that for BV and nothing happened to me. I actually went through like 3 cycles of it too. I don't know where you're reading about these horror stories but I think the side effects are vary rare...I think I read that on the package.
