Strange bleeding?

Strange bleeding/long periods?

  • The past two months, a few days before my period is due, I have had a light pink discharge and very light bleeding, then my period comes as normal for five days, then finishes and all goes back to normal. Then, a few days before my period is due the same thing happens again. Thereis also a bit of pain in my cervix and it is a bit sore, but only for a day or two until my period starts properly. What is this? I'm 25, haven't recently stopped or started taking a pill, don't have very regular periods usually, but certainly more regular than this weird goings on! Can anyone help or has had this happen to them too?
