Why do eyes cloud black after death?

Death note question Misa Amane and her Shinigami eyes?

  • Okay so I was watching Death note right... Misa Amane made a deal and gained Shinigami's eyes (the ability to see names above people's heads and their life span) which meant half of her life span was taken right? But when that shinigami risked his life to save her, her life span increased? THEN, she gave up her death note, according to Light's plan, meaning she lost her memory and the ability to see peoples names and life span. So when it was taken from her, does that mean her life span returned to normal, or is it still halfed? Also, once she gets her death note back, if she asks for Shinigami eyes again, would that make her life span shorter again? Or will her life span remain the same?

  • Answer:

Yes, her life was extended when Jealous gave up his own to save her, and she gave half of that away to gain the eyes. No, she did not get her life back when she lost her memory and Death Note. As far as I remember, once someone asked for the eyes, it's a permanent commitment. If she would ask for the eyes again (which, I think she might? It's been a while since I watched, so smaller details are a bit fuzzy for me. ^^; ) he life would be cut in half again, bringing it to one-forth of the life span she had when she first received the Death Note.

her life span was permanetly increased and halved. If she did it again she would have a quarter of her remaining increased life. Getting the eyes isn't something most people can do twice without dying, she got lucky with the shinigami in love with her.

when one gives up ownership of the book their lifespan does not return and once that one regains their notebook and ask for the eyes again their lifespan is halved again so basically her life was shortened 1/2 2x for example is misa would live for another 46 years in total, the first time would be 23 years then again it would be 11.5 years so from 46 to 11.5 that is over half the years you remain on earth but luckily for her she acquired more years from that shinigami who sacrificed himself but either way that sucks
