Do you think I should make a myanimelist account?

I used to think exactly like you did, as I also only started watching anime recently- But honestly making an account there was the best decision I made! -It's helped me keep track of episodes I'm up to, which is good if you're watching many series at a time. -It's kept me up to date with animes, like new episodes and seasons. -It's where I've gotten almost all my suggestions for new shows -And this was a bonus for me, but the ability to customize the CSS style on my list just made it all the better! -And It has a great community, though granted I do not use there forums much, but when I do everyone there is kind and welcoming :) Basically I love the site! It's helped me in so many ways, and it's always exiting watching your list going from a few animes, to well over xx number! I would seriously recommend to you, or anyone to make an account there.

Its really good to have an account to make sure you dont lose track of what youve already seen and what episode on a series youre on plus you can tag things as reminders to watch later in the future. The site goes down only every once in a while for small maintanence but its a site a ton of people who watch anime use. I dont really use the forums there anymore i only use it for the list.

1. Yes. 2. Everyday. Or more every 2 days. 3. You can't but the mod's can. There's a special thread that for people that quit that can request to have their accounts deleted. And mods delete spam accounts all the time. 4. The site does have maintenance issues from time to time. It's a home-made site help up together by volunteers. The code the best they can but sometimes things slip through the cracks. But they're not getting paid for it--it's just a hobby. Just like you watching anime to add to the list is just a hobby. But regardless, it's still a well made site (I find animeplanet.com to be poorly formatted) for what it is. And most of the TC on here have an account. It's easy to give and take recommendations on it too.

i have one but i only use it to keep track of what anime i have already watched its helpful for Y!A too. you could just show them your list and you wont have to write out all the anime you have watched to get a recomendation

well yeah, why not? it is up to you though.i have an account, but i rarely opened it, well, i only want to open it when i want to...not daily...

i've been on for two weeks and no one responds to my comments getting kind of bored with it. But i dont think it really maters you could always just block their emails later and stop visiting if it sucks for you.
