What to put as the objective in a resume?

What should I put an objective for my resume?

  • I'm trying to update my resume, I have most of it done except I still dont have anything good for an objective. I will pretty much be applying to anything and everything. So I was wondering if anyone had some good idea's on what to put that would be a basic objective. My next question is that I've also heard that many employers do not like the objectves line and I've read that it should be left out all together. Anyone have an knowledge about this? Thanks

  • Answer:

Yes, just delete the objectives line. Just because it shows up on a resume template on Word doesn't mean it's the bet thing to use. In fact, if you do use a template, it will be noticeable to employers that you haven't created your own resume. Google up 'resume writing' for more info.
