How can I use delimitate in a sentence?
-
I am writing a very formal essay and I want to say that ...places limits on the range of jobs people can go for (that something being a lack of literacy skills). How can I put this in a sentence and am I right in thinking that 'delimitates' means 'places limits on'? Would this fit into the sentence and make sense in context? Thanks

Answer:
Use "limit"--a very acceptable verb. "Delimitate" is one of those over-done words that isn't really a word.
