How to fix my Sony video camera?

  • i have sony vegas platinum pro pack 9 and i have rendered several hd 1080p videos with your method's help on my mom's laptop. on my mom's laptop it was very hard to edit videos because it was always so choppy because the computer couldn't keep up with my camera's hd feature. now i got a new computer for christmas that can support my hd feature so on sony vegas i would no longer have to shift-b my clips every 20 seconds into my movie just so i can do a normal edit. however when i rendered my latest video with my new computer i could not get it to render all the way! it would say half way through my WMV settings "an unexpected error has occured" and it closed my sony vegas. i tried over and over and it still wouldn't work, i even set my quality settings back to the original format before i tampered with it in the custom settings. i tried avi however the file came out to be too big for youtube so i had to use an mp4 format and the quality was disgusting! it came out to be letter box, lines were shown in the video, and it was blury. how can i fix this if you know?
