Work and resume question?
-
I'm trying to find work as a writer, it hasn't gone well. I found a website that helps you find freelance work online. Awesome. But... I need to feel out a resume with them. I've only had one job, and it wasn't in writing. And as for education... I'm a highschool dropout. I dropped out during senior year for mental health reasons (long story). I had some problems to work through, and I pretty much have. I'm smart. Really I am. People have often told me that I'm one of the smartest people they know. And I'm not saying that so to impress the denizens of Yahoo Answers, it's so that you can see my dilemma. Before I dropped out I used to take college classes. Professors have actually mentioned my skills. I used to write for the school paper. My articles were the most talked about. Now for the bad. I don't plan on going to college, or even finishing my highschool education. I'm already educated. At this point I'd only be going in to earn a piece of paper. I'm looking for places that would let me work for them based on merit, and skills... not a diploma. Hopefully once I've got enough work under my belt everyone will look past my diploma-less resume. I'm looking to be a writer (as it's the only skill I have.) I understand certain degrees are necessary, but I don't see why I need one for this. The website asks for a resume. On the site a resume isn't considered 100% complete unless you can fill in related job experience, degrees, ETC. I have none of those. But, I can still apply for jobs. Will employers even bother looking if I have none of that? What should I do? The job I'm looking at would be 5 months of solid work. That would build up my credibility.

Answer:
you mean motivation letter? it must be very short and show that you are unique! Write it when you're in a very good mood!! Or you can use different professional services like http://buyessay.org this is really the most important thing for employers! By the way, here on this site, and on similar ones you can apply as a freelance writer! It's a good alternative while you're looking for a job. good luck!
