What does the word “freedom” mean to you?

  • Answer:

true freedom isn't a reality, as we give up freedoms for safety and community. Instead of being free to take what's yours, I am restricted so that I am only free to keep what's mine.

Freedom's just another word For nothing left to lose Nothing ain't worth nothing But it's free. Kris Kristofferson Freedom is not, and has never been free. Our veterans, myself included, earned and paid for freedom by sacrificing their youth, and sometimes their lives that others may be free. The military and the veterans pay the price, and the people who look down on them so often are the beneficiaries. I think that Robert Heinlein had it right in "Starship Troopers" and so many other stories. Only veterans should be fully privileged citizens with voting rights. Pay in advance, so to speak, for freedom.

Education. We are required to go to school until we are sixteen and complain about it, while children in other countries would give anything to go for just a little while. We take it for granted and we remain ignorant.
