  • i know that American English uses -ize while British English uses -ise But, this word 'emphasis', which one is correct? emphasis or emphasise? If you live in the UK you'll probably use emphasise. If you live in America you'll probably used emphasize or emphasis, which are both different words, might I add. One is a noun and one is a verb.
