How can I reword this sentence?

How do i reword this sentence?

  • How do I reword this sentence my teacher doesn't allow me to use the word it. How can i reword it (no pun intended) so i leave it (once again no pun intended) out? Also is it (pun intended) a run on? "It scares me to think that my sins may follow me to my grave on which a black flower will sprout marking my sins that were never released from my miserable soul."

  • Answer:

Easy; she's trying to show you how it changes from passive to active (it was done; I did it). Take the "it" out and put "I" phrases instead. "I am scared to think that my sins may follow me to my grave, on which a black flower will sprout, marking the sins that were never released from my miserable soul." And yes, the original sentence was a run-on. It's not a run-on the way I wrote it, just a little long, since I wasn't sure how much you were allowed to change it.

The mere thought of death brings fear to myself. Realising that my sins may follow me to the grave, is like a black flower that will sprout, marking my sins, that were never realised from my dreadful soul.

A terrifying thought: my sins may follow me to my grave--my grave on which a black flower will sprout, signifying the sins that live on in my miserable soul.

Dear Carlos

My personal fear is that my sins will follow me passed death. I envision a black rose sprouting from my grave marking the burden of sin that torments my shackled soul.
