Why doesnt ups show my tracking info?

  • i ordered a PS3 off of Dell.com on 6/24 and Dell said that it shipped 6/25. Dell doesnt tell you where your package is, and i wanted to know, so i put in my tracking number on ups.com. it recognizes my package but says that no information is given at this time, try again later. its done this for 3 days now. dell says that the PS3 should arrive at my house tomarow, but i want to know where its at from ups. whats going on with their tracking info? oh and ups.com says that the tracking info was update right now, this very minute, 12:42

    Call UPS customer service. They ship thousands of packages every day, sometimes the info gets lost in the shuffle. CS can tell you more than what the UPS web can. Also, just because somebody gave you a tracking # doesn't mean it shipped. Tracking #'s are given in bulk to the shipper, so they could have given you the tracking #, but just may have not shipped in yet. If UPS doesn't show the package being picked-up online, more than likely that's what happened. Keep in mind, just because UPS recognizes the tracking # doesn't mean it's shipped.
