What does processed mean in shipping?

USPS processed through sort facility?

• USPS Delivery Confirmation tells me that my order was processed through sort facility twice, once on Dec 28 and again on Jan 10. So what does it mean when my order is processed from the same sort facility twice, and several days apart? I've also been waiting since Dec 27 for my order to arrive, but it hasn't arrived yet. Has something happened to my order?   It probably means that the package was lost and then found. Maybe it's not addressed properly, or the label is illegible. I would call or visit your local post office and ask about it.
