What are the top 10 selling items on ebay?

Can you help me with eBay? (Never sold items but want to)?

  • I have some things I want to sell on eBay and a lot more will come. I am only 16 so I myself can't do all of it so I'll have my mom do the money thing. I have a $100, $50, $50, $25, $25, & a few $10 items (these are my prices which are @ least $15 or more less than new ones.) I heard that eBay charges you for selling, what do they charge you for? and how much?

Talk to your mom. At 16, YOU cannot open an eBay account at all. As for mom listing items for sale and getting paid through Paypal: 1. Be sure you know how you will ship the item and how much it will cost to ship. Box the item up BEFORE you list it. 2. eBay has been running a deal that the first 5 listing per month are free, but the final value fees are higher. This is good since new sellers often can't find buyers at all. Between listing fees and final value fees, figure 10% or more for those fees. Paypal will take another 3%. eBay bills once a month. Paypal takes their money as it comes in (the 3% includes any money for shipping too). If you are buying items specifically for resale on eBay, keep detailed records, you will need them at tax time. Plan on 30% for taxes.
