How does eBay actually work?

How do you get paid off of eBay? I'm planing on putting some sneakers on eBay for sale, but i'm confused on how you actually get paid or receive the money from the buyer. So, How does it work? Do I give PayPal my bank card number and info, and then if someone buys it PayPal puts the money in my bank account or does PayPal send me a check or what? And my other question how much does eBay actually take? I know they take a certain percentage but does anybody actually know that percentage?

The buyer fills out the info on their stuff like their Paypal Account and you will get a check sent to you since your paypal has your address. Guess what.... Your getting money this weekend!!!!!

Their Bank -> Paypal -> Your Bank If you want cheques the buyer will have to send it to you. As a buyer though I can tell you I don't buy if I have to send a CQ.
