Is Florida Institute of Technology a good university?

I received a check from Florida Institute of Technology today. Came next day mail.?

  • My husband passed away 11 months ago. Family and friends have helped me out a lot during the pass few months. However I received a check today for 1750.00 from the Florida Institue of Technology and I don't know who sent it. There was not letter and it came next day air. Should I take it to the bank it was drawn on and see if it is a good check?
