Did my fiance sign us up for a SCAM?
-
So she went to a wedding fair last week and she got a call monday saying that she won 3 things...(1) 25% off any of their products (I dont even know what this place is) (2) Tableware (3) a 2 day 3 night all inclusive trip to the bahamas (we just have to pay for airfair apparently) they claim that we can get all of these with no obligation but we need to go to a presentation tonight at 7 for one of their products, I am afraid that this is just going to be a big waste of time and I will have to sit through a long boring presentation and walk out with nothing unless I buy there product. So should I go or not?

Answer:
Total waste of time. Its just a sales scam. Don't even bother. If it sounds too good, it generally is.

If you go, be prepared for a high pressure sales tactic. You will get something, but, you will pay for it by buying something else. Unless you really need or want those prizes, don't go. Good Luck

These are all over bridal fairs. That trip is nothing but a time share sales trip and you also have to book your flights thru their specific travel agent who is going to charge you more than any other flight you book alone. And don't believe the 2 day/3 night. You dont have any time to enjoy it. Day 1 you arrive at night. Day 2 you are stuck all day in an off site time share presentation and by the time you get back to your hotel, that day is pretty much gone. Day 3 they try to say they arranged some free excursion for you, like a boating or fishing trip, and there's nothing but more hard sales, then you fly home early the next morning. I wouldnt bother responding
