Is visual merchandising the same as fashion merchandising?

Is there a fashion merchandising class or course at uwgb?

  • I know I want to become a fashion buyer, but the only problem is I really want to go to UW Green bay and I have no idea if they have a fashion merchandising course, or class. I don't understand how to navigate through their site, it confuses me, I'll type in fashion merchandising and things will pop up about it, but then I'll go their a to z class and there is nothing there about fashion. Please help.

    If you really want to go into fashion merchandising, you need to go to Fashion Institute of Technology or Parsons School of Design. Most universities do not have programs with any sort of recognition in the industry, and community college courses are woefully inadequate. If you cannot find a program in Fashion Merchandising, it's because they do not have one.
