I will tell you what would truly mean more to me than a gift certificate to the spa, where she may not even be comfortable, is if my kids pampered me at home. Plan to have peace and quiet for your Mom's pampering time (about 2 hours is great). Purchase some lavender or eucalyptus essential oil. A small bottle is usually $5. Have your Mom sit in a chair and put 1 drop of the oil on a folded washcloth that can just fit over her eyes-so that she has that relaxing scent on the edge of the cloth. Rub her feet with a brown sugar, oatmeal, olive oil mixture and take it off with a warm wet hand towel. Follow with a relaxing foot massage, using a thick lotion with a drop of the essential oil. Then do the same on her back . Follow this with a nice scalp massage. She will love you for taking your time to do this!! You could even play some relaxing music and light a candle! That's lovely that you want to do that for your Mum. Please don't pay any attention to the people offering you loans, they're fake, and can't help you. Do you have any brothers or sisters that could help out, or your Dad? My family all put in together to get my Christmas present a couple of years ago, because it was $300 and far too much for one person to spend. If you all put your money in together and share the gift, it will make it easier for everyone! Or perhaps you could pick a few things from the package, like the massage, manicure, hair and makeup, then take her out to lunch yourself. That might make it a little cheaper. Good luck.

Well my brother sells stuff for my friend.She pays him to sell custom-designed button pins for her (Like the kind that say "I love ___" and people can get whatever they want in the blank). He does it in school (like at lunch and on the bus) and on facebook, so it doesn't take much time out of his day. Teenagers go nuts over these pins, and they are super easy to sell. He makes like $50 a week sometimes. My friend who pays him MIGHT consider hiring you long distance (she'd ship the orders to you)... but you'd have to email me and we could talk about it.
