Can you transport homemade baked goods on a plane?

International transport (~100kg of goods) from Italy, to Hungary?

  • I would like to transport my goods from Italy, to my country (not to the doorstep, any major city would be fine.) I tried to look up UPS and the other major shipping companies, but they offer terrible rates. (Something, that only a huge company could afford.) The package size would be: 120x80x50cm The package weight: ~100kg Estimated limit for this shipping: ~70-90 EUR Is there a company that would do such a shipping? (The company can be from any country, as long as they understand English, and will ship the goods.)

    I know that airline companies also offer shipping services. Ask them about it (Swiss do that). Although I am afraid that the maximum weight per parcel is no different than the normal post. Also, consider breaking the package into smaller packages if possible, it might be more affordable for you to do it by normal post.
