What does my "cover letter" in my resume need to have?

I am making a resume for an accounting position... I need help with what I should say in the cover letter.....?

  • I am gong to school for accounting, but I don't have my degree yet. I found a couple of jobs that doesn't require a degree, and I would really like the experience. So how should I present myself in the cover letter? I'm not sure how to word everything. I have plenty of experience with the computer and office jobs.
