Which is the best way to ship items by mail?

  • considering to ship in a business sense where i'm shipping multiple envelopes or packages (around 30 packages a month) under 1 lbs taking in consideration of ... -cost -reliability -business discounts-shipping multiple packages -on site pick up if any? -insurance of items(b/c ive had many problems with the USPS losing my mail and not responding when i had confirmations bought on those packages) -which is better for a business for shipping goods that are light... Fedex, UPS, etc. Which one is the best shipping method for businesses to use? thank you for your ideas and answers!!!

    I used to sell lots of stuff on eBay, and I can attest to the fact that the U.S. Post Office was ALWAYS less expensive than UPS or Fedex or any other service. I insured anything that I didn't want to reimburse myself and figured the insurance cost into the cost of shipping. If it was small items around $10 or $15, then I didn't insure them. By the way, after shipping about 900 items over 5 years, I only had one that was lost by the Post Office and they paid off on the insurance claim.
