I have 2 coupons each coupon is one dollar off.The item is buy one get one free how would the coupons apply? ?

I would just get what the coupons say. If they say $1 off one whatever, that is what I would get. I would do my shopping and pay as usual. I have done this many times. Most often since I use many coupons, they all go through. edited: Yes you can use 2 coupons for the same thing. Just do your shopping and check out. You have no control over what a store has on sale.

Very often, coupons will say "not valid with other offers or sale items" - which would mean you could not use both the coupon and the 2-for-1 deal at the same time. They alos sometimes say limit one coupon per customer. At best, they'll allow both, and you can subtract two dollars off your total. At worst, they'll not allow you to use them for that particular purchase.
