Anyone else having these problems with fallout 3?!?

while playing this game ive encountered A LOT of problems, the first being it freezes up a good bit, i just started having problems with no sound and i go into the sound and it wont fix it, i had problems where at times the guns wont shoot, i mean i love the game but im having so many problems.. anyone else having this problems and any advice on what i can do to try to fix all of this?!

Sounds like you need a new disk. What does the back of it look like? Try cleaning it. Also, you might want to check to see if your console is getting proper ventilation. Feel if it's overly hot, and if so, let it cool and put it somewhere else. Edit: Also, you might want to clear your catche if you're on Xbox. Go to system -> memory -> hard drive-> device options -> clear catche
The game you got is probably messed up, either clean it if it's dirty or exchange it for a new one.
Your disc might be messed up. Fallout is completly bug free. So either you have a broken disc and for the gun thing you might just have been shot or bombed and sometimes the gun goes to the side for a few seconds and wont shoot.

mine used to do this all the time and it was soooo annoying! I deleted loads of saved games on my hard drive and that seemed to do the trick, try it and see what happens...
