If I buy a Xbox 360 arcade?

Should I buy the xbox 360 Elite or the xbox 360 arcade?

  • I already have an xbox 360 premium with a 20GB hard drive but it has gotten the red ring of death for the second time. My hard drive is running out of room and I've been meaning to buy the larger 120GB. I kind of want a second console anyway to have at both houses I live in half of the week. Should I purchase the xbox 360 arcade system and buy the 120GB hdd separately and just attach it and transfer all the information on my previous hdd to the bigger one to save money? OR should I buy the Xbox 360 Elite spring bundle for $299 and do the same thing with the transferring? Keep in mind this particular Elite comes with the 120GB HDD. (I still have to send in the xbox I have right now for repair, but when I get it back I will have two 360s...if I can decide which one to buy right now)

elite, no questions asked. the ring of death only comes if you mistreat it.

i would say elite bcuz by the time you buy the harddrive and arcade you spend about the same as an elite. Btw if you send the xbox in without a warranty it would cost around $200 (trust me had to fix mine twice and didnt the third time so i bought a arcade for the same price as fixing it)

Get the elite, it will work out cheeper and look nicer. Not to mention it has a better chipset meaning it is less likely to rrod.
