Can i play modern warfare 2?

Modern warfare 2, I can't play online?

  • It lets me get online, and I can change my classes, call signs, and look all in barracks, but it wont let me join a game. I try to join a friends game and it says, "Your playlist data is newer than the host's. You will be unable to play with them until they restart to get the new playlists." and most of my friends don't have the new stimulus package map pack. My NAT type is open. My internet works just fine, and my other online games work fine. If you can help me, I would be greatly appreciative.

If this just occured then you need to restart your xbox and your modem. xbox needs to download the new data to be able to play mw2. Hope it works it sure worked for me

Ask your friends to join you. That might solve things. I've never had that exact problem, but I've had similar problems. Sometimes, you just need to restart your power boxes. Get that signal blasting to your system again before playing

ive gotten that two times before. Just turn of your xbox or ps3 and turn it back on. Then you should be fine. Or the other way around tell your friend to turn off etc. (Me and my friend both turned it off together.) Hope this helped. This may sound stupid but i',m dead serious Mw2 for the win!

Well it's probably because all cod games are like that same with gears of war 1/2. It's just to make sure people can't hack the games even though most games are still being hacked.
