Can I make backup copies of Nintendo Wii game discs?

  • Can I make backup copies of Nintendo Wii game discs? My son has already renderded two of his game discs unreadable by the Wii console with his heavy handling of them (he's only 5, I don't blame him) but does anybody know if it's possible to make copies of his remaining discs before they die as well ? I did try putting a Wii disc into my pc DVD/CD rw drive but the pc said not recognised. Is there an emulator prog out there that will let me make and burn back up copies? I'm not looking at pirating and selling just dont want to have buy new originals all the time. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Yeah there is a way to make backup copies of your Wii games and a couple of ways to get your Wii to play copied games. I to have a little one that plays the Wii and I got sick of her destroying the disks. Something like this is vital if you have kids that play your games. I went and picked up this guide that teaches you how to copy and play copied Wii games. It is pretty good and easy to read and follow.
