What are the most popular pc games out now?

What popular RPGs/Games can be played on the PC?

  • My cousin, an avid gamer, plays only on her laptop PC and doesn't own any video game machines or what not. Does anyone have some good online or downloadable games that you can play on the PC? or recommendations of ones that we can buy? Hopefully ones that are not hacked and are reliable (no viruses)... Also, no suggestions on multiplayer games (stuff like LOL and Maple Story, although they are fun to play ^^)

I would recommend getting Steam as well. It allows you to view, and purchase thousands of different games and their prices are always cheap, with constant sales. Steam is completely free, and even if you decide not to purchase though them, you can still view, and get a description of a ton of RPG games. Anyways, here are some of my favorites that I'd recommend: Diablo 2 (Old school hack n' slash) Dragon Age: Origins (Some of the best storytelling I've ever seen in a non-Metal Gear Solid game) Fable (Not as good as the newer XBox version, but the PC version is still fun) Neverwinter Nights 2 (One of the most underrated video games in a long time) The Elder Scrolls Series (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim) Fallout 3 (Its an RPG shooter, so I am not sure if your friend will enjoy it. My personal favorite game) Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic (Not sure if she is a Star Wars fan, but its a great game none the less) Minecraft (OK, its not a Xp grinding, quest solving, RPG game...but its still a damn good one. If you don't have some fun with this game, there is something wrong with you.)

Portal, Portal 2, Half-life, Left 4 dead, Left 4 dead 2, Mass Effect 1 and 2.. 3 is out in a couple of weeks. Freelancer, Eve, Skyrim, Team Fortress.
