Xbox 360 free gold weekend?

If i get a new xbox 360 what will happen to my 12 month gold membership?

  • my xbox 360 is done for, it got the red ring of death, and ive tried all day to fix it, but its a really old xbox so anyways, im getting a new one, and on my old one i had a 12 month gold membership, it was only about 2 months in, and im wondering if i get a new xbox 360, will i have to get a new membership and spend 70$ again, or is there a way to keep the same things that were on my old xbox? please help! :)

    You keep the same one. It will ask you if you already have a Xbox account and if you want to recover it or if you want to create one. Since you have one, you just recover it by entering the gamertag, email, and password. Give it a few minutes to download your profile and then your all good.
