How to downgrade my psp and what's the risks?
-
I want to downgrade my psp but I'm afraid of what will happen if I don't do it right. I'm not an expert or anything so I don't understand a lot of this Firmware and Downgrade and ISO. I don't know what to trust on the internet and what not to. Please help me understand the things I need to know. I'm currently having problems with downloading games to my psp and able to play them. I downloaded 4 and non of them will let me play the games. How do I know what firmware I have? Will it be the System Software that'll tell me what kind of firmware it is? If so, It say it's 4.01. Please Help Me!

The only reason you would want to downgrade your PSP is if you are running homebrew games exclusively on it. When you downgrade your system you will find the functionality of the PSP and a lot of the commercial games you have will cease to work. If your not an expert and are just dabbing in the homebrew market I would strongly suggest either creating a virtual PSP on your computer OR getting a second hand older PSP to do it on (the older the PSP the better). If you search the internet for a homebrew club and follow the instructions on their forum that will be better then getting the info from a website (I understand you miss givings on trusting any old site).
