Why won't the cheats work on sims 2 pets?

    try switching to ctrl +alt + c lmao when i first tried cheating on sims for months id ask this girl next to me whats the combo to open up the cheat window? shed always say," ctrl +alt +c" but it would never work. then one day my fingers slipped and did ctrl shift c and it worked. so i think it just depends on the computer sometimes i go to school all mad the next day thinking she had been mistaken all that time and annoyed by it too and said "its ctrl shift c not alt" and she said "really? o.o its alt for mine." so then i realized it must have been the comps lol
