Are there two different versions of Fifa 08 for ps3?

When I look up help on manager mode it seems that my version is completely different than the fifa 08 "everyone else" is playing. For instance, I dont have an option for training sessions, reserve team matches, or even preseason matches... all of these were mentioned in the "other" versions of fifa 08 for ps3.
