Which should I buy - Sony PSP or Xbox?

  • I'm living abroad, and want to buy some form of games console. I previously owned the first xbox back home (in the UK). I would buy the newer Xbox 360, but I'm in the Far East and shipping it home a year from now would be expensive. On the other hand, I'm a huge fan of xbox-style games like Halo and Half-Life. On the other other hand, I thought the PSP looks quite interesting, since it's much more portable and I can even plug it into my TV if I want to play games that way. I'm not sure though if there's many of the shooter-style games I prefer on the PSP, although I have seen trailers for a few that look pretty good. Is the PSP worth buying, assuming there's lots of shootin' and blowin' stuff up games available for it, or would i only really find those on xbox?

    i would buy a xbox, even if it is more expensive there is a larger audience, which means that microsoft will keep bringing out games and new soft and harware, where as sony have recently put alot of money in to the PS3 and now the PSP isnt doing so well, therefor if you are going to buy a sony buy a ps3 but i would reccomend the xbox

PSP. i have had since they came out in 2006. Its the bomb. You can watch movies, play games ( i recommend thrillville) and upload pictures

you should not buy a psp, because on x box 360 you get msn ( if you already have one) and you get much better camera and good graphics. on the other, psp is ok but you get much more out of an xbox. i am not telling you to buy an x box because its your desicion, but i would recomend an x box, if you think its too expensive then buy an psp simple as.
