My good sir, I have the perfect game for you that combines rpg elements with fantastically realistic shooter mechanics in a First Person Shooter. The name is S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat. The stalker series is very well know and is made by russian developer GSC Game World. It's got amazing atmosphere and very addictive and long, but a bit on the scary side. It's also beautiful and if you just bought a new alienware PC, you should be able to run it max settings no sweat. It's only $40 as well, plus there are 2 other previous iterations of the game Stalker:Shadow of Chernobyl and Stalker:Clear Sky, both of which I believe are $10-$20 each. Call of Pripyat is the best one yet so I strongly recommend getting it.

One you'll really love is Half Life. And Portal. AMAZING. You should also try the game called bully2 Most awesome game in the world.
