Psp custom firmware help. please?

PSP!!!!!PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP?

I have a PSP with Official Sony Firmware Version 4.05. I, like many others want to upgrade to Custom Firmware but like many, i am very confused...especially with the talk about Pandora's Battery...and The Magic Memory Stick. and things like that sort. Ive searched all over the internet and read many things that tell me how to do this, but all the information that i have read/ received seem to contradict each other. I Just want to know how to do this, without spending much money or buying anything that i dont need. please help me. Thank you What i do have is a -PSP ( Fat) Original PSP with Official firmware 4.05 - A 4 Gb memory sTick Pro Duo -A 1 GB Memory stick Pro Duo -Computer/USB cord/Charger and things of that sort. - i dont have a custom firmware PSP..or know anyone who does have 1 ..Thanks in advance PLEaSE HELLPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
