How to download Sims 3 from EA store?

Why can't I download CC from the Sims 3 Store?

  • I have just recently purchased Katy Perry Showtime edition and I wanted to download it's free features from the Sims 3 Store. I have an account, but every time I try to download, instead of opening the launcher, its appears with a message saying "unknown error". I tried downloading CC but it only works when i open with The Sims 3 without letting it go directly through Sims 3 Launcher. Anyone can help me? I have a Mac OS X Version 10.7.3.

    You never exactly know. It could be that the sims store is down. It did that to me last night. It was annoying. I haven't checked today but maybe you can try downloading something else and see if it does the same thing and then try downloading the one you want. Or vise versa.
