Why can't I play halo 1 on pc?

Halo PC, cant see text messages, who killed who, and so on.?

  • i just installed my halo to my new laptop, only to find out i cant type in stuff to talk to people, plus i cant see who kills who when, this is very annoying, plus the fact that this laptop is BRAND new, my desktop is 4 yrs old, and it works fine, anyone got a solution or a patch or something, i cant play halo like this

    try pressing enter to text and im not sure if someone dies, once u figure out how to text just ask them
