Who thinks the PS3 is not a as great of consoles as the Xbox 360?

You're going to get some fanboys real mad, you might start an unintentional fanboy war here! But on your Kinect comment...That isn't original at ALL. The Ps2 had a device like it called the EyeToy. The Kinect and Move are just HD versions of what other consoles had some time ago, and they are both trying to appeal to the casual crowd. and as for online...Xbox users have to pay to get online, that's why they have so much more to offer than the playstation free online.

On the contrary, I think the PS3 is the most clever game console to date. Far more clever than the Wii and xBox ever were. You may call it terrible. So terrible in fact that the next Gen game consoles (Microsoft Etc) will have to PAY SONY. Yes you did read that right. Microsoft and Wii, in order to sell their consoles with the now standard blue ray technology (which is what next gen consoles will need to have) they will have to pay Sony for the rights. People who say the PS3 is a horrible game console, fail to see what was really going on. Microsoft and Nintendo assumed they were going up against another game console. And the PS3 outrageous price tag at its launch, sealed the deal that they will be able to skirt right past the ugly black box in sales. And they did. All the way, looking and laughing how great their sales were. Not realizing that rather than looking to make a more affordable console, that maybe they ought to be keeping an eye on other electronic products. Sony in the meantime, were set to lose the console race. They knew that. But it didn't matter. Because the whole point of the PS3 wasn't to sell a game console. Not at all. It was to launch the Blue Ray player as the next generation media system as well as field test a multi media unit to a mass audience. So they intentially bombed the PS3, and made a focus on developing and perfecting the Blue Ray technology instead. All the Playstation 3 was, was just a console to field test the technology and improve it after consummer testing. And it worked. Blue Ray technology has established itself as the next generation media system. And that technogy is owned solely by Sony. Any blue ray developed by any company, will have to pay Sony for the rights. As a matter of fact, the PS3 might not look like anything now, I bet you anything, all the next gen consoles will look like it. Just like the Phantom and the 3DO. Systems that at the time, looked bad, but now became standard. So while you might think the PS3 is sucky as a game system, it's actually Sony that is doing all the laughing. They won in the end. It's one thing to get consummers to pay you. It's quite another to get all your competators to pay you. Bravo Sony. PS3 is the SINGLE MOST CLEVER SYSTEM ON THE FACE OF THE PLANET.

honestly, your argument is that of a typical Fanboy. I have both systems and they both have great exclusive games and have their ups and downs. Don't generalize by saying that NO ONE want's to play PS3 games because most of the people I know happen to love PS3 games. Just another Fanboy rant who has no idea what he's talking about.

well it depends on the person. i personally think consoles are a waist and pcs are the way to go for gaming. xbox has its downs as well. like having to pay extra to play online. not sure bout how the 360 plays better. as far as specs go they have the ps3 beating the 360. i know my father in law has both and had games on both that were the same game. mostly sports like madden and nba live. he personaly started buying them for his ps3 because it looked better and played better and even loaded up faster. as far as exclusives go well to me halo is horrible. i never liked it much at all. and you can get them on pc now. at least i know the first 2 you can anways. and then they have gears of war. killzone i personally like better then halo and was a similar game to me. and then you had socom which was my favorite but i think they stopped making socom. and uncharted. but you mostly gripe about how 360 is better games but almost all games are on both consoles. but if you want a gaming rig then the pc is the best out there. and even the games that are on all consoles you still end up with more choices for the pc side. because most games get modded and end up having more maps and game play. like cod4 was a totally different game on the pc then console. you had ftag mods, paintball mods, sniper mods, star wars mods, etc. and it had maps that were from older games like medal of honor, as well as new maps ppl came up with.

I agree with everything you said. The only thing PS3 has on 360 is blue ray which doesnt matter cuz for the price difference between the two consoles you can buy a new blu ray player. Anyone who disagrees is just mad at themselves for spending so much money on an inferior machine.
