Can you play the Sims 2 online?

Anyone who plays Sims or Sims 2 can answer this. It's not a hard question, just about your personal game play.?

  • I have Sims 2 on my laptop and I had a few question for all you Simmers. A. How do I get in the mood to play? When I'm in the mood it's really fun, but sometimes I just don't feel like playing. However, I want to play because there is nothing else to do, and it can be fun. I just can't seem to get good ideas that make me jazzed to play it. Suggestions? B. How do YOU like to play? Do you like big families, small families, child-less couples or single people? Do you like having twins, do you think twins is too hard? Just how do you like playing, what makes if fun for you? And C. Let's take a vote...Should my character, Kacedy (pronounced: Casidy) have just her one child, Casey, three children (including Casey) or 5 children (including Casey.) Thanks! Sorry if this question was confusing or stupid, I just thought I'd see what people like about Sims and what Kacedy should do, etc. HAVE A LOVELY SIM DAY!

  • Answer:

I like to look at places like 'the sims resource' or get online and chat with other sim fans to compare notes and get enthused. I actually don't like children much, so if they happen, they happen, but I'm not up for breeding them. I like to build the houses and careers. stick with one kid. Its less stress on the *computer* to have a limited number of sims running around.

I really can only get in the mood to play when I have a family planned out. I mean generations of family. I like all kinds of families and I love playing them all in sync so they age appropriately. Whats her aspiration? would having too many kids hinder it? My family I am playing right now is super fun. It started with a single mom (Gwen) and her half-japanese daughter (Lily). Gwen had a few live in boyfriends, but one in particular (Steven - he was a townie) fell madly in love with Lily. (I use Inteenminator so teens and adults can fall in love). She went off to college and he moved in. They promptly got pregnant and married. She moved back into her mom's house, with her mom's ex-bf (now Lil's husband) and proceded to have 4 daughters and adopt 2 daughters. I kept trying for them to have a boy, but it didn't happen lol. Her mom (Gwen) is now a senior and is finally married. Lily's oldest daughters are in college and living with their fiances. One of her daughters is at college with 3 kids (Inteen lets YD's have kids). The third daughter seduced Malcom Landgraab and is living it up as a super rich trophy wife. More to come :)

A. A good way for me to want to play is to pull out my strategy guides or read on the forums. It gives me ideas about what to do. B. I usually like to tell stories (rarely do they ever make it into the scrapbook) about the guy who tries to impress his female best friend and date her, or the two people who have to room together because they don't have enough money to live alone ... they usually end up as families with children. I also like to try to have as many generations as possible without using cheat codes. (Check out the Legacy Challenge for that.) C. Just one. It can be the story of a single mom trying to make a better life for her daughter.
