How can I fix my xbox live connection?

How do i fix my XBL(xbox live) Connection?

  • Well i have at&t highspeed internet. My router is a 2WIRE,it was provided by at&t. Ive had really good connection with XBL until i got my laptop. Then it got a little worse when i would use XBL and my Laptop at the same time. Now i have a new desktop and with any other computer in my house running im always in redbar during XBL. Now my router is about 2 years old. IDK the type just that it is a a 2wire router and its white. Can someone tell me if i need a new router or can i fix this?

  • Answer:

go to your modems home page and change the power of the modem to the highest. this should help if one of the systems that you are connecting is far away. if i isnt already then you should set the max given speed to the highest one. if all else fails get better internet. this might sound weird but if you have v shaped metal and put it on the opposite side of the system from where the wireless is coming from then you should get better conection
