Why can't I play halo 1 on pc?

I cant play Halo 3 on xbox live????

    I have the same problem, but have tried everything....What really makes me mad, is you buy the game and are able to play online, then they introduce an add on and it restricts your online play...really not fair to the consumer

might be the controller is the B button stuck?EDIT: there is something to do with internet conection that goes open moderate and closed if yours is closed might explain why
