Which Three Should I Buy? Apple iPad, Apple iPhone 3GS, Nintendo DSi XL, PSP 3000, PSP GO, and Xbox 360 Elite?

  • I am a current PS3 Slim 120GB and a Nintendo Wii owner. I got the PS3 Slim in January, and the Nintendo Wii in December. I am looking for something new because the Nintendo Wii is starting to get very boring and the PS3 is amazing it's just that when i do not play the PS3, i want to play something else. The Apple iPad is a very fun device and if i will buy one it will be the 16GB version which runs at $499.99. The problem with the iPad is that it is not everything that you need in a laptop, yes it is touch screen but it doesn't work like a Mac, it is not faster than a Mac, but it works like an HP Laptop which is pretty fast, but if i am going to use it for everyday use then it probably would not be the right thing for me, espcially because the iPhone 3GS is the leading device in the world and if i buy both the iPad and the iPhone 3GS i do not know if that would be stupid or not. The Apple iPhone 3GS is a great device with many good applications, games and more. I will be buying te 16GB version of the iPhone which is $199.99. I really like it and i would want to pay $80 for a great device, but the problem is that my cousin got his iPhone and got bored with it for the next two years and started just paying money to the company which was not very fun for him. I like the iPhone's applications and games but it is just too expensive even though i can pay that much money in a month, it is just that i feel weird paying that much in a month. The Nintendo DSi XL is a very fun device with many great games. It has a 93% larger screen than the Nintendo DS Lite and 86% larger than the Nintendo DSi. But here comes the problem, Nintendo said they are releasing the Nintendo 3DS which is supposed to replace the WHOLE Nintendo DS Series. Also, one thing that i would regret on the Nintendo DS Series, is that my friend go a Nintendo DSi the day it came out which was April 5th and played with it until April 23rd and then threw it in his closet and it is still sitting in his closet right now and he had not touched it since about one year ago. So, i am afraid that teh same thing would happen to me because i got a Nintendo DSi but returned it last year because i got bored of it but everything could have changed right now because it has AMAZING Games. Now to the PSP 3000 and PSP GO, i like the PSP GO because everysingle UMD Game that i like is on PlayStation Network so i have nothing to worry about some games not being there. But it has a smaller screen, i do not like the PSP 3000 because of teh UMD and because it is HUGE!!! The PSP 3000 does have a bigger screen and it does look a bit more hot than the PSP GO but were not going to get into that. Now, i heard that Sony is coming out with a new PSP 2 that they are announcing at E3 2010, and i do not want to miss out on teh new system because that is supposed to compete with the Nintendo 3DS. So, should i wait until E3 2010, and if they do not announce anything then i will buy the PSP GO or should i just buy it now? Now the Xbox 360. It has great exclusive like Halo, Gears of War, Left for Dead, Fable, etc. The Live is AMAZING especially with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. If i do buy one i will either buy the Final Fantasy 13 Bundle which is $399.99 or the Spring 2010 Bundle which includes two free games at teh price of $299.99. But, i already have a PS3 and a Nintendo Wii so the Xbox 360 Elite might just be a waste. It also has the Red Ring of Death which could happen anytime. Also, they might release a NEW XBOX between now and 2012. Also, pricing is not an issue but if Microsoft decreases the price every year for the Xbox 360 and then next year it is $199.99 wouldn't they have to come out with something new because the prices are too cheap. Like right now it is $299.99 so would they keep it at $299.99 for another two years or DO THEY HAVE TO DECREASE THE PRICE EVERY YEAR. Like i said pricing is not an issue i just said that they might release something new shich i am afraid of happening. Anyway thank you everybody and please do not just say what you want me to get explain what you want me to get to get best answer. YOU WILL NOT GET BEST ANSWER IF YOU DO NOT EXPLAIN!!!! SO YOU HAVE TO HAVE AT LEAST 6-8 SENTENCES BECAUSE PLEASE IF YOUR WERE IN MY SHOES THIS IS A HARD SITUTATION THAT NEEDS A LOT OF EXPLINATION. SO EVERYBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN!!!!!!     your asking way to much... maybe you could save your money and buy something that is actually useful??? but the only thing in there worth getting is the xbox 360. It is SOO much better than the PS3 in every way. The only negative is it doesnt have blu ray

i'm gonna have to go with the iphone 3GS because it's the most useful. you can text, call people, get useful apps, go on the internet, check your email, play games, and etc. p.s. dont get the ipad

I would get the Apple IPad and here's why. The IPad is very useful. You can go to the internet, you can play games, and other things. it is basically a combination of a lot of things. A video game, a computer, a GPS, and a phone. I would tell you to get the Ipod touch, but if you have money for one or the other, you should get the newest thing. Of course, none of your desicions are going to be perfect, but I think the IPad is close enough. Hope this helps!

Alright lets get started *sigh* Okay definetely get an xbox 360. No need for it to be an elite no difference except for memory and color. I cant really tell you the pros and cons for the others but the new psps. I read a huge article about how the new psps are horrible and a complete waste of money. They are just trying to match sales with dss but cant compare. The ipad gets slammed everywhere and is the same thing as an iphone except being overexpensive. Now back to what I know for sure. The xbox 360 is the best out of the three next gen consoles. I own a ps3 and a wii. The wii gathers dust on my shelf unless i get drunk and want to play mario with a bunch of friends. The ps3 is basically just my blu ray player. The controller is horrible for shooting games. Xbox live is phenomenal with its exclusive arcade hits and communications. Xbox has alot of xbox only games like gears of war fable assassins creed 2 left 4 dead halo and many others. The pricing went down because of the economy to make it afordable. Xbox live alone racks them in millions of dollars each month so no worry there. I have had the same xbox for seven years and have never encountered any problems. There is a 2 years red ring of death warranty just in case. Do not buy the Final Fantasy Bundle. I bought Final Fantasy thinking it would be awesome but am hugely dissapointed about how redundant and boring it is. Press one button then it does what you pressed. You go back press the button and you do this for 5 minutes to kill a moth. Xbox 360 is the best thing ive ever purchased and I promise you you will not regret buying it. Make sure you have an internet connection for xbox live. If youre worried about movies for 75 dollars you can buy an attatchable hd movie player for the xbox. Get the XBOX 360!!! Hope I helped.

well first I would say did you just win the lottery or something? ? anyways, lol.. I would get iphone, the psp 3000 and the xbox.. why?? you will have all you bases covered. The ipad is cool, but its too big to keep in your pocket all the time, and I think its kinda pointless personally. Iphone is a better choice since the app are real fun, plus you call ppl! lol.. I had an iphone for awhile, but Im a big texter so I got rid of it and got a moto clix just for the slide keyboard, and picked up an ipod touch for all the apps :P Psp for all the great stuff on the playstation store and not the go because I think it just looks like another cell phone and didnt really like holding it. the xbox to cover your console trifecta. You already have the other 2, might as well have all 3 (guilty) each has their own exclusive that make it worth having them all. hope that helps!!

I will have ot go with the iPad because of personal preference, however you seem like a gamer, so I would say xbox 360... However if you travel, or plan on going anywhere then you should get the DSi XL, I have it and it is great. I personally have considered getting the Iphone 3GS, but i have heard it tries to do too much (like be a phone, gaming system, artistic tool, etc.) so I would not choose the iphone. Before you make any decisions I would recommend going to a local Apple store near you and actually picking up and playing with the ipad (i have and it is very cool.) But back to the Dsi XL, I have heard multiple times that a new Dsi XL is in the making and it will have video capabilities, if that is something you are interested in. Apple is also in the process of coming out with and ipad that has a camera. I know it can be hard to wait (I am in the process of waiting rite now) but it may be in you best interest to wait. In your description of the apple ipad you keep referring to the Mac, maybe you should save you money (just a thought.) so what my answer boils down to is this: Out of personal preference- Ipad scince you seem like a gamer- DSi XL (you can get halo for that too) Hope I explained enough and I hope this helped you decided...
