I REALLY NEED HELP PLEASE HELP ITS MY PSP?

I have a psp the older version and i bought star wars force unleashed and when i put it in the psp it said i need to fully charge it so i can update my psp so after i got it fully charged i started to update it and it said do not remove the usb cable or cd but i did not have the usb cable hooked up so i shut off the psp and now it come back on when i turn it on it stays on for a few seconds then it shuts off plus when its on the screen it not on .............so what should i do

When updating you need to put your AC adaptor/charger in. What you should do is try taking the battery out and put it back in. Or maybe it is corrupted and won't work.
