How To Play Nfl Madden 2012?

Is the Madden NFL franchise on a path to being more enjoyable to watch than to play?

• Today I purchased Madden NFL 11 and have down every edition for the past 6 years and more and more it seems like they're taking features away and control keeps getting more and more inhibited due to their improvements in different animations and ways the players react in different situations. Well after playing my new copy for about an hour and finding myself very dissatisfied and feeling like I've wasted $60 and new rosters and updated lighting I decided to just put the controller down and for the first time since Madden 09, watch a simulated game and I have to tell you.. I'm actually very impressed and feel slightly less cheated out of my money. I wouldn't call this a great sports game but if they could make improvements on their franchise mode I think they could easily make a very entertaining management style game based on building a franchise and watching your players do the rest.. lets pretend NFL Head Coach 09 wasn't awful and still ponder on it's potential.
