Where can i find free sims 2 custom content?

Sims 3 downloads ??? Custom content ???? HELP!?

  • Okay well i hate just the regular stuff sims come with. I have a limited user on my computer and it is a pain in the A** to install custom content in the sims 3, i have tried almost every site, MTS, Peggyzone, Cool sims,....ect. Is there any way i can download hair that will go straight to the game, so like someone who has took the sims hair and changed it up. So like made it different? do you know of any sites Please? i really hate all the regular sims stuff also like the makeup and eyeliner ? do you guys know of any sites? i will thank you SO much if you can find any!

    There is no straight to game downloads, and so i suggest you ask whoever has you restricted to change your account type. There is always and installation process. There is no straight to game downloads, and so i suggest you ask whoever has you restricted to change your account type. There is always and installation process. Try this... you should save the custom contents to Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3>Downloads (if it's a .sims3pack file) and C:>Program Files>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3>Mods>Packages (if it's in .package file). Make sure your custom content is enabled. In the game go to options menu and it should say open sims 3 game launcher and go to downloads TRY THIS LINK. YOU MIGHT FIND THE SOLUTION. If you were to get things off of the Sims 3 exchange, that downloads through the game launcher. However, it's mostly recolors and things like that. When you bought your game, you got $10.00 in simpoints, and therefore you could look in TS3 store. There are new hairs there, but you have to pay for them.

I can't help you with Modthesims, cause Modthesims is different, you have to read the instructions at their site. I've wanted to try it, but I am a bit afraid it could fck up my game. As for any other site like The Sims Resource, or Sims 3 exchange, those are very easy. Once you download the file (whatever it is, clothes, lots etc..), it has the option to "Open" and the launcher takes it once you click on it. -any kind of downloading is risky cause you will get bad files in your game. You have to become familiar with the bad files and then remove them from your launcher (which is not always easy). So look them up on sites and they will show lists of bad files you have to remove.
